USB COM and virtual COM

COM ports have long provided for PCs and embedded systems. It is RS232 interface [ 9 pin I/O] connection. While USB interface become more and more popular. Nowadays, USB has become the main connection in I/O . Less and less systems have RS232 connection. Take latest MAC products, there is only 1 I/O in existence  [ USB-C ].

However, RS232 is perfect way to do command and the data control. Until now, it still take important position in the solutions. 

To fit both expectation between hardware and the solution side, Birch keep high effort to make the devices to support USB and USB -COM [   virtual COM] together.In another words, the solution suppliers can keep the max flexibility while they use Birch hardware devices.
